Network Investigation Technician
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Network Investigation Technician, where you will be responsible for conducting technical investigations of network faults and moderate to complex network issues associated with the LV and HV network.
You will investigate, identify, and resolve power quality events, electric shock incidents, and Emergency Response Generator deployment. Additionally, you will perform commissioning, maintenance, and fault repairs to distribution automation switchgear and alternative sources of supply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct technical investigation of network faults and moderate to complex network issues associated with the LV and HV network.
* Investigate, identify, and resolve power quality events, electric shock incidents, and Emergency Response Generator deployment.
* Perform commissioning, maintenance and fault repairs to distribution automation switchgear and alternative sources of supply.
Requirements:
* A grade WA Electrical Workers License endorsed for Electrical Fitting / Mechanic - essential.
* Minimum 5+ years advanced technical experience within a particular discipline, preferably in the Networks business.
* Experience dealing with external customers.
* Knowledge of field practices, procedures, engineering standards and regulations applicable to the Section and Stream.
