We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team in Nowra, AU.
The Role
* Process payroll for multiple businesses and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* Deliver exceptional service to clients and handle HR administrative tasks such as preparing contracts and onboarding new employees
* Advise on and resolve complex payroll transactions and manage employee entitlements
* Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and submit end-of-month payments
Your Responsibilities
* Process payroll accurately and efficiently for multiple businesses
* Manage employee records and maintain accurate information
* Validate and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy
* Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
* Maintain awareness of changes in payroll laws and regulations
Requirements
* Experience in a similar Payroll Officer role with comprehensive payroll knowledge
* Understanding of current payroll legislation and processes
* High attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organisational skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* A desire to learn and have strong problem-solving skills
What You'll Need
* Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 5 years of payroll experience
* Experience with multiple payroll software systems including Xero, Deputy, Tanda, and MYOB
