About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HR professional to join our team as an HR Officer. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to employees and managers across the business.
Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality HR administration, coordination, and support, ensuring compliance with policies, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in HR systems, employment legislation, and employee relations. You will work closely with our HR Business Partner to coordinate performance management, incident reporting, and disciplinary matters.
As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate HR records, including right-to-work checks and intranet content. You will also contribute to HR projects and support policy implementation and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide HR advice to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with policies, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation.
* Support employee onboarding, contract generation, offboarding, and general employee lifecycle processes.
* Assist in the coordination of performance management, incident reporting, and disciplinary matters alongside the HR Business Partner.
* Maintain HR records and compliance documentation, including right-to-work checks and intranet content.
* Contribute to HR projects and support policy implementation and engagement initiatives.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
* 2+ years experience in an HR support or coordination role, ideally within a construction business.
* Sound knowledge of HR systems and employment legislation.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
* Willingness to travel locally and interstate and support a flexible working environment.
