About Us
Pilbara Motor Group has proudly served the Pilbara region for over 22 years, starting as a small dealership in Port Hedland. Today, we operate 6 locations across the Pilbara, representing leading automotive brands such as Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Suzuki, and Isuzu Ute. Our team of over 200 local employees is committed to delivering outstanding service across Western Australia.
Supporting our regional dealerships is our Welshpool-based operation – Perth Motor Bodies – which includes a pre-delivery workshop, fabrication facility, paint shop, and corporate office. You'll be joining a fast-paced and friendly environment that supports large-scale vehicle builds, fleet work, and customer vehicles.
The Role
As a Tyre Fitter / Wheel Aligner, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and prepared to the highest standard. This position involves tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and general workshop duties in a busy automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Fit, balance, and rotate tyres on a range of vehicles
* Perform wheel alignments accurately and efficiently
* Inspect tyres, wheels, and suspension components for wear or damage
* Maintain workshop equipment and tools in a safe condition
* Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
* Assist with general workshop duties as required
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
* Work collaboratively with technicians, service advisors, and management
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter and/or Wheel Aligner (preferred)
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
* Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
* Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player
* A current driver's licence (essential)
