Our client, a respected and long-standing organisation within the bulk haulage and logistics sector, is seeking an experienced Compliance & Quality Control Manager to join their team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. With a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and service delivery, they offer a modern working environment and a values-driven culture.
This role, reporting to the General Manager – HSEC, will take the lead in driving organisation-wide compliance initiatives and ensuring continued certification to ISO 45001 and 9001 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain a company-wide compliance framework
* Conduct internal audits and ensure departments meet compliance obligations
* Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on compliance matters
* Manage the organisation’s Safety and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
* Oversee document control in line with ISO 9001:2015 requirements
* Coordinate internal audits for WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (WAHVA) and National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (NHVA)
* Foster strong working relationships across multiple sites and business units

About You:
* Deep understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards
* Strong knowledge of WAHVA & NHVA requirements
* Experience with compliance systems such as Comply Online
* Excellent auditing, organisational, and analytical skills
* Proficient in document management and Microsoft Office tools
* Knowledge of the transport and logistics industry
Qualifications & Licences:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
* Diploma in Quality Auditing
* Quality Systems Auditor training
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
* Valid C Class WA Driver’s Licence
