We're looking for a technically minded, self-driven leader to join our Labelling team and play a pivotal role in our Medical Device Regulations project. If you're an experienced Technical Writer who thrives on complex documentation, process improvement, and guiding others, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact
Let's Talk About the Role :
1. Own the end-to-end development, publishing, and release of high-quality, compliant technical product documentation
2. Ensure all content aligns with ResMed's standards, processes, and regulatory requirements
3. Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and validate technical information
4. Contribute to content governance, style guide improvements, and tooling best practices
5. Identify opportunities to streamline documentation workflows through AI or automation tools
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge growth
Let's Talk About You:
6. 5+ years of hands-on technical writing experience, preferably in regulated industries (medical device, electronics, pharma )
7. Proven leadership experience — you've led documentation projects or mentored others in a team setting .
8. Strong technical acumen and a process-oriented mindset
9. Proficiency in XML-based CMS platforms, with demonstrated experience using tools like Adobe AEM, Adobe Workfront, InDesign, Acrobat, and JIRA/Confluence
10. Understanding of how to leverage AI and modern tools to improve documentation efficiency and quality
11. Self-motivated and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical input into user-focused content.
Preferred:
12. Experience with translation/localisation workflows
13. Background in high-volume manufacturing or medical device labelling
* Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
