Key Hotel Maintenance Position
At a prominent hotel, we are seeking an experienced individual to assume the role of Chief Engineer.
This position involves proactive maintenance and upkeep of the hotel's facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring lawful building compliance with respect to essential services, fire, life, and safety protocols.
* Manage overall maintenance, including preventative maintenance, cost control, and contractor liaison.
* Complete CAPEX submissions and oversee all CAPEX works related to hotel maintenance.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the engineering team.
* Monitor and analyze guest feedback related to hotel facilities, ensuring feedback is acted upon, followed up, and corrected.
Talent Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
* A trade qualification.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and attention to detail.
* Previous experience as a Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
* A proven ability to proactively coach and guide team members.
* An energetic, positive, team-oriented outlook.
