About the Role
Gaining hands-on training and expert mentorship in mechanical systems, safety protocols, and industry regulations is a vital part of this position. You will assist in diagnosing mechanical faults, support installation and maintenance of pumps and compressors, and learn to follow established standards.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain practical skills and industry knowledge through on-the-job experience and formal education. You may be located in various regions, including Albany, Katanning, or Lake Grace, and surrounding areas.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in diagnosing mechanical faults in plant and machinery
* Supporting installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, compressors, engines, and other mechanical components
* Learning and following safety protocols and mechanical standards applicable to the workplace
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* An enrolled or willing-to-enrol Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
* A commitment to workplace safety and learning
* A current driver's license
