Overview
Join Cochlear as the Account Manager (Surgical) for NSW & ACT. This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year in the first instance. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets by providing industry-leading surgical support and training aligned with the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Sales Acumen - prospecting for opportunities with new and existing customers (surgeons); build strong relationships with surgical partners and key accounts.
* Business Acumen - use sales reports, forecasts, and related tools (e.g., Salesforce) for planning and decision making.
* Surgical Support - maintain in-depth product knowledge of Cochlear CI and Acoustic offerings to effectively sell and position Cochlear products.
* Advocacy Programs - collaborate with Clinical Affairs to ensure clinical support and expertise is delivered to THPs via the CA team.
* Customer Experience/Support - provide surgical support in operating theatres and ongoing field support for new surgeons, staff or hospitals as needed.

Required Skills
* Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a relevant field
* Experience in medical devices sales, particularly in an operating room environment
* Territory management experience
* Professionalism and cultural sensitivity
* Excellent sales and influencing skills
* Outstanding communication skills (oral, written, presentation); able to engage internal and external stakeholders with urgency
* Strong understanding of institutional and B2B sales processes and commercial acumen
