Finance Officer
Are you a motivated and experienced finance professional with a proactive mindset and a flair for building strong working relationships? We are seeking a Finance Officer (EL 1/APS 6) to join a dynamic government department. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks, and is keen to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial processing across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Credit card and travel management
* Internal budget tracking and support
* Cash flow and financial reporting
* Daily use and maintenance of the CBMS system
* Liaising with internal stakeholders to clarify and understand financial needs
* Interpreting and responding to financial requests and data queries
* Active problem-solving and researching to deliver outcomes
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience with external budgeting
* Familiarity with Expense8 (travel and expense management system)

* Communicate effectively across departments
