Heritage Christian School (HCS) is a K-12 Christian school situated on a picturesque campus in Port Macquarie on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW. About the role
We are seeking applications from qualified Junior School teachers who are enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Christian school. A passion for educating and nurturing students in a regional setting is fundamental to this role.
Heritage Christian School has a clearly defined Teaching and Learning Framework, including implementation of High Impact Teaching Strategies.
This full time position will start January ****.
Key Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications for the position and NESA teacher accreditation
Open affirmation, ownership and practice of the Christian faith
Implementation of a Christ-centred and Bible based curriculum which enables students to learn a Christian perspective of the world
Demonstrated ability in using technology and data in the learning process
An understanding of and commitment to student wellbeing
Understanding of Designing for Deep Learning (DDL) and Transformation by Design (TbD) and Explicit instruction approaches to learning (EI)
Commitment to the school's Child Safe Standards
Commitment to working in partnership with families
Personal Attributes
