We are a bespoke family-owned joinery business based in Wollongong, specialising in high-end residential and detailed custom joinery projects throughout the Illawarra and surrounding areas.
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled CAD Designer / Check Measure person to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong joinery knowledge who enjoys detailed residential work and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality documentation for custom projects.
About the Role
The position includes:
* Site measure and check measure work
* Technical detailing and production drawings
* Preparing workshop-ready documentation
* Liaising with office and workshop teams
* Assisting workflow across bespoke residential projects
* Problem-solving and maintaining attention to detail throughout production
* Liasing with Clients, Architects and Builders
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience within the joinery/cabinetmaking industry
* Trade qualification in Joinery / Cabinetmaking
* Strong understanding of bespoke joinery construction and manufacturing
* Experience working on high-end residential projects
* CAD drafting experience essential
* CabMaster experience preferred
* Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Practical, solutions-focused attitude
