Mental Health Clinical Lead – Neami National

Why Neami National?
Neami National supports individuals living with mental health challenges to achieve outcomes they value. This role is part of the Integrated Centralised Referral and Assessment Service (ICRAS) team in the Northern Territory.

ICRAS provides high-quality mental health intake, assessment, and referral services for individuals across the Northern Territory experiencing mental health issues and seeking support. The service aims to offer a seamless care pathway, ensuring consumers receive the appropriate level of care at the right time to meet their mental health needs.


What's the role?

* Lead a team of clinicians and intake officers.
* Provide clinical oversight and leadership to the multidisciplinary ICRAS team.
* Guide the delivery of mental health intake, assessment, triage, and referral services for community members experiencing mental health issues.
* Ensure individuals are referred to suitable services aligned with the 'stepped care' approach.


Is this the right role for you?

Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or a Social Worker with membership or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

A valid Working with Children Card (for Social Workers/Non-AHPRA professions).

A valid Australian Driver's licence.


Additional Information

Applications are open to Registered Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, or Occupational Therapists.

NT PHN/RWA NT may offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance for professionals relocating to or within the NT to more remote areas for employment and further clinical education.
