Qualifications & experience
- Trade qualified. Minimum of 2 years' experience in Boiler-making and Welding
- Understand weld ability of Mild Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel
- Sound knowledge of QA processes
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa required
Tasks & responsibilities
- Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry work out safely
- Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner
- General Boiler making duties including grinding, cutting (friction and gas cutting), welding (MIG, TIG, ARC), polishing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels
- Co-ordinate and work in a team environment
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings
- Maintain and use equipment as designed
- Ensure that work is performed as per drawings and current schedule of works
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time
- Daily time sheets are completed accurately and on time
