Job Overview
This role involves providing civil engineering support across the regional network, developing and reviewing asset management plans, and conducting site inspections.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil, strong civil engineering knowledge, and experience in a technical or asset management role.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional civil engineering support to the Regional Engineering team
* Develop and review asset management plans and strategies
* Certify civil engineering works and ensure compliance with relevant standards
* Conduct site inspections, travel regularly, and undertake technical investigations
* Analyse infrastructure condition data and prepare detailed reports and recommendations
About You
You'll be a problem-solver who enjoys variety and working both in the office and on-site. You're comfortable travelling for work, capable of managing multiple priorities, and motivated to learn across multiple domains.
* Requirements:
* Bachelor of Engineering - Civil
* Strong civil engineering knowledge and experience in a technical or asset management role
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Willingness to travel regularly and conduct field inspections
* Strong data processing and analytical abilities, including experience with Power BI, Python, or similar tools (advantageous)
* Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise asset management systems (advantageous)
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-performing team
