Overview of role
The IT End User Support Specialist plays a key role in delivering responsive and effective IT support across Coliban Water. Working within the Information & Systems team, the role is responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end‐user devices and systems, managing service requests, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall technology experience for employees across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing responsive IT support across desktop, mobile and cloud environments
* Troubleshooting and resolving incidents and service requests
* Supporting Windows 11, Office 365, Active Directory, Intune and SCCM environments
* Assisting with workstation deployments, device provisioning and endpoint management
* Supporting meeting room AV equipment, printers and mobile devices
* Maintaining documentation, knowledge articles and asset records
* Contributing to service improvements and basic IT automations
* Assisting with system upgrades, rollouts and IT projects
About you
You're a customer‐focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and helping people. You bring strong technical capability, excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in an IT Service Desk or technical customer support environment
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills
* Experience supporting Microsoft environments including Windows 11 and Office 365
* Knowledge of Active Directory, MFA, Intune and SCCM preferred
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A collaborative and continuous improvement mindset
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Salary
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 2 ($62,475 – $72,897) plus super salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
