Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is one of the largest and most highly regarded intensive care units in Australia, providing state-of-the-art critical care services to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions, supported by a team of world-class specialists, nurses, allied health professionals, and researchers.
The ICU is dedicated to innovation, teaching, and research, playing a pivotal role in training the next generation of intensive care specialists and advancing patient outcomes through excellence in care and clinical practice.This position is responsible for providing administrative support, secretarial and office management to the Director of the Intensive Care Service, as well as other senior medical staff to ensure the smooth workflow of the department.For more information, please view the Position Description.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support, secretarial and office management to the Director of the Intensive Care Service and other senior medical staff to ensure the smooth workflow of the department.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
Ability to provide high level administrative support including billing and financial provision.
Excellent organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision, prioritise work commitments and demonstrate initiative.
Experience in using computer applications such as Healthroster, Vmoney, ROB, and Cerner and use of private patient billing processes in a public hospital setting.
Experience in recruitment of Junior Medical Officers, and orientation, induction and training of administration staff.
