Primary objective

Provide high quality administrative support to the ICT Contract Management team and assist in the day-to-day management of contract

and procurement-based activities.

Context statement

ICT Services provides ICT end user services including the ICT Service Centre, End User Computing, Network Management, Voice and

Telecommunications including internet. The Contract Management Unit manages the delivery of a broad and a complex set of

arrangements, both outsourced and internal to government. Activities involve a significant amount of agency, contractor, and industry and

stakeholder engagement.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Provide efficient administrative and secretariat services to the ICT Contracts Management team, including support to the Director

with preparation of meeting papers and calendar management.

1. Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including managing and monitoring of generic email accounts.
2. Participate in and provide effective support for ICT procurement activities.

3. Support senior officers in the monitoring and reporting on contractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations and

performance standards across a range of ICT agreements.

1. Process a range of incoming and outgoing documents using a record management system, such as TRM.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Sound experience in providing high level administrative support, including a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

1. Demonstrated ability to understand contract management and/or procurement processes within an ICT environment.
2. Ability to understand and interpret legislation and procurement policies and apply this knowledge.

3. Sound interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral including ability to have a customer focus and engage with staff

at all levels, businesses and industry representatives.

5. Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and complete tasks concurrently to meet

deadlines, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

1. Ability to work in a professional team in an organisation that values participation as a key to achieving business objectives.
2. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, innovative and

respectful.

Desirable

1. Knowledge of NT Government Information Communication Technology (ICT) outsourced environment.

2. Certificate IV in Government Procurement.
