About the job General Practitioner, MM4 & DPA
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled General Practitioner to join a committed primary healthcare team on a full‐time basis. This position is open to candidates who hold a specialist overseas qualification recognised by the RACGP or ACRRM.
As a General Practitioner in Kingaroy you will be responsible for providing high‐quality primary healthcare services to our patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and holistic care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct consultations and physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients
* Prescribe medications and provide appropriate medical advice
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests
* Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
* Refer patients to specialists when necessary
* Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date medical records
* Participate in team meetings and case discussions
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
* Stay updated on the latest medical developments and guidelines
* Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
* Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice
Requirements
* Medical degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 2 years post‐qualification experience
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain it
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Strong diagnostic and problem‐solving skills
* Compassionate and patient‐centred approach to healthcare
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
* Adaptability to a fast‐paced and dynamic work environment
