We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our finance team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Undertake payroll processing, including calculations, payments, and reporting;
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all payroll transactions;
* Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management;
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
Key Responsibilities
* Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll transactions, including gross pay, net pay, tax withholdings, and other deductions;
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies regarding payroll;
* Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular payroll reports to management and employees;
* Customer Service: Provide prompt and professional service to employees and management on payroll-related inquiries;
* Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., accounting, finance) preferred;
* Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll or a related field;
* Strong understanding of payroll regulations and procedures;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
