This is a Permanent/Fixed Term Part Time appointment for 45.6 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE). Fixed term appointment will be made with possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Senior Social Worker role
Senior Social Worker works in accordance with professional and departmental policies and practices, and within a multi-disciplinary and professional team context plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates social work services for patients with an acquired brain injury and their significant others using advanced social work clinical practice skills. This role reports to Team Leader.

Eligibility and compliance
Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Workforce inclusion
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the health service. Should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
