Aviation Cleaner Role
We are seeking a skilled Aviation Cleaner to join our team at Mackay Airport. As an Aviation Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for passengers and staff.
Your primary duties will include cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and toilets, emptying rubbish and recycling bins, operating cleaning equipment, and performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning spills.
You will also be responsible for ensuring cleanliness throughout the airport to provide a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and toilets
* Emptying rubbish and recycling bins
* Operating cleaning equipment
* General cleaning tasks: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning spills
* Ensuring cleanliness throughout the airport for a positive customer experience
Essential Requirements:
* Pass a Criminal History Check, Drug and Alcohol Screening, and Medical Assessments
* Obtain an ASIC (Criminal History Clearance)
* Hold an unrestricted Driver's License and have access to a reliable vehicle
* Available to work a Sunday to Thursday roster
* Strong work ethic and punctuality
