About the Opportunity:
The role involves supporting and advocating for women and children experiencing family violence in a culturally secure manner, ensuring they receive comprehensive support services. You will oversee the quality of client work and data for the Safety Advocates, Senior Family Worker, and Paralegal.
Requirements of the Role:
- Provide practice guidance, supervision, and support to the Safety Advocate team
- Coordinate referrals, undertake intake, and conduct risk/needs assessments
- Coordinate weekly intake and review meetings
- Oversee, implement, and evaluate case management strategies for women and children
- Engage clients, building trust, and offering one-on-one support
- Support clients in maintaining safety
- Facilitate and advocate access to various information, services, and resources
