As part of our continued growth across Financial Services and Wealth Management, LTM Australia is seeking a Data Engineering Specialist to support large‐scale data transformation and migration initiatives for a leading enterprise client.
This is a hands‐on, delivery‐focused role where you will work across modern data platforms, driving end‐to‐end data migration, reconciliation, and reporting solutions within complex, regulated environments.
The Role:
You will play a key role in designing, building, and validating data pipelines and reporting solutions, ensuring high data quality, accuracy, and integrity across enterprise systems.
Working closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and delivery teams, you will contribute to mission‐critical programs across wealth, superannuation, and banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver end‐to‐end data migration including reconciliation, validation, and reporting
* Develop and optimise complex SQL queries and scripts across large datasets
* Design and build ETL pipelines using SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF)
* Create insightful Power BI dashboards and reports for business and executive stakeholders
* Support data testing activities including reconciliation testing, test data preparation, and reporting
* Drive automation and optimisation across data engineering workflows
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure high‐quality, scalable data solutions
* Contribute to overall project delivery, ensuring timelines and customer expectations are met
Required Experience:
* 5+ years' experience in Data Engineering / Data Analytics roles
* Strong expertise in SQL (advanced level) and complex data transformations
* Proven hands‐on experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory)
* Experience building Power BI reports and dashboards
* Solid understanding of data migration and reconciliation processes
* Strong knowledge of data testing principles and frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to Have:
* Exposure to DBT (Data Build Tool)
* Experience across Wealth, Superannuation, or Banking domains
* Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms and automation frameworks
