As a Manager, you’ll combine technical expertise, problem-solving, and client collaboration to deliver high-quality AI & Data solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering AI & Data Solutions – Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI, analytics, and cloud data solutions that drive business value.
2. Managing Projects & Teams – Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while mentoring junior team members.
3. Engaging with Clients – Collaborate with business leaders to understand challenges and translate them into actionable AI & Data solutions.
4. Optimizing Data Ecosystems – Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures to enhance scalability, efficiency, and performance.
5. Driving Continuous Improvement – Apply best practices in Agile methodologies, data governance, and AI/ML to ensure long-term client success.
6. Enhancing Deloitte’s AI & Data Capabilities – Contribute to thought leadership, internal knowledge sharing, and innovation within our AI & Data practice.
About the team:
Our AI & Data team is a diverse group of over 500 specialists across Australia, partnering with clients in both public and private sectors to deliver cutting-edge solutions. We collaborate with leading technology providers such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Snowflake, and Databricks, ensuring we stay at the forefront of emerging AI and data capabilities.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are a tech-savvy, problem-solving leader who thrives in a data-driven environment. You bring:
* At least 6 years of experience in Machine Learning and/or AI Engineering with proficiency in either Python or R and advanced SQL.
* Hands-on experience in Computer Vision or Generative AI engineering, which is highly desirable.
* Experience with modern cloud services such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure, indicating familiarity with cloud-based data solutions.
* Experience in identifying and implementing opportunities for enhancing data analytics practices, leading to improved operational outcomes.
* Experience conducting end-to-end data analysis, defining data requirements, and ensuring data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
* Advanced skills in analytical and statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights and develop predictive models.
* A deep understanding of domain knowledge in software development, critical for integrating AI solutions into existing systems.
* Advanced experience in data fundamentals, database management, data modelling, and data pipelines is strongly preferred.
