Dental orthodontic receptionist and assistant
Orthodontics Perth is currently seeking a longterm permanent part time Senior Receptionist and Assistant with certificate III or IV. This is one position which requires both skills. The position is for all locations: Alkimos, Cottesloe, Denmark and Manjimup.
With new facilities, chairs and equipment, we provide orthodontic treatment to everyone, children, teenagers and adults, offering clear aligners, removable and fixed appliances, and braces. We are a small, specialised team that prioritises quality patient care with an atmosphere of professionalism and fun.
The permanent role is for 3-4 days per week (Mon-Wed-Thur-Fri), with some flexibility; longterm could possibly become full time. Experience in assisting and at reception is required. All locations are to be covered in rotation with other assistants.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of dental reception experience and a minimum of 1-2 years of dental chairside assisting experience.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced orthodontic receptionist and assistant. Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Answering phone and email enquiries
* Welcome patients in the clinic
* Organise appointments, rostering
* Invoicing, taking payments with EFTPOS
* Liaising with other clinics and specialists
* Keep the social media pages of the practice up to date
* Dental chairside assisting and sterilisation
* Candidates must have Australian work rights
Orthodontic experience is not essential, but would be desirable.
