Job Summary
Bear Scotland is a leading road maintenance and management service provider in Scotland. The company maintains and improves Scottish Trunk Roads, including bridges and structures through challenging parts of the country.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Planned Maintenance Manager and Roads Manager to secure execution of operations according to contract requirements.
* Manage team delivering roads structural maintenance and routine maintenance budgets within a geographic region.
* Coordinate team to ensure steady flow of work for operational and subcontractor delivery.
* Undertake Principle Designer/Principal Contractor role as required, ensuring risk assessments, scheme designs, and compliance with technical standards.
Requirements
* Professionally qualified or working towards professional qualification (IEng/CEng).
* Knowledge of current design standards.
* Working knowledge of contract control and management systems.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
