Remuneration: $123,138 - $146,228 pa Level B (plus 17% employer superannuation)

Position Description

Monash University is seeking experienced Indigenous scholars to join the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences as Level B Lecturer (Education Focused). The role supports teaching of the Indigenous health curriculum and supports Indigenous students in any of the Faculty's disciplinary fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and curriculum development for Indigenous health topics.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to Indigenous students.
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues and the Gukwonderuk Unit to enhance Indigenous learning outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Healthcare background and experience in education.
• Embedded in relevant Schools/Departments with strong links to the Gukwonderuk Unit.
• Strong engagement experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
• Valid Working with Children Check required.
• Only Indigenous Australians are eligible to apply under the Special Measure Provision, Section 12(1) of the Equal Opportunity Act 2011 (Vic).
