Key responsibilities
This role exists to grow the trade customer base while strengthening ongoing relationships across Melbourne's eastern and southern regions.
* Prospecting: Actively source and convert new trade customers.
* Engagement: Manage and grow existing accounts with consistent communication.
* Promotion: Showcase acrylic and melamine products with confidence and expertise.
* Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure fast and seamless service.
* Insight: Stay across industry trends, competitor activity and market opportunities.
* Reporting: Provide timely updates to track progress and support strategy.
* Closing: Prepare presentations, proposals and quotes that drive deals to completion.

Your skills and experience
* Sales: Proven background in trade sales and customer relationship management.
* Product: Sound understanding of technical product information and its application.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage.
* Drive: Self-motivated approach with a focus on results and opportunity creation.
* Systems: Familiarity with CRM tools and general sales technology.
* Logistics: Current driver's licence for regular customer visits.
