As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in delivering real-time support and contributing to the planning and execution of maintenance and repair activities for our generation assets. This involves promptly responding to operational needs to ensure that our assets remain available to meet market demands.
Key Responsibilities:

* Providing technically sound engineering advice that balances asset condition with business requirements.

* Responding to equipment breakdowns by providing timely engineering advice to support fault diagnosis and resolution.

* Working across various sites and spending time on site to develop a deep understanding of our asset portfolio and provide hands-on support where needed.

* Collaborating closely with the Maintenance team to provide engineering support and advice during planning and execution of maintenance activities.

* Contributing engineering expertise to condition assessments by leveraging historical data, inspections, and investigations.

* Engaging with on-site operations teams to exchange insights and drive improvements in asset performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
You are a qualified Electrical Engineer with solid experience, preferably in an industrial or production environment. You think strategically and stay calm in complex or unclear situations. Your strong communication skills help you listen, adapt, and build effective working relationships.
You have a proven record of delivering practical, commercially sound engineering solutions with a sharp eye for detail and a strong focus on safety. You're curious and committed to keeping up with the latest electrical systems and industry practices.
Comfortable spending time on site, you work closely with operations and maintenance teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. You also enjoy mentoring junior engineers and technical officers, supporting the growth of the team.
Experience or a keen interest in Primary Electrical Engineering including HV switchgear, transformers, alternators and other electricity generation equipment would be viewed favourably.
