We're excited to welcome a Nurse Manager – Clinical Products Advisor to our Safety, Quality and Improvement Unit.
The Nurse Manager- Clinical Products Advisor is responsible for providing expert clinical leadership, advice, and support to key stakeholders regarding the procurement, supply, and management of clinical products and consumables at Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This role actively assists with product selection to ensure best practice patient care, safeguards the safety of patients and staff, and promotes optimal use of health funding through value-for-money purchasing.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining budget integrity by ensuring contemporary procurement practices, monitoring appropriate usage, enhancing inventory management, and storage of clinical consumables and promotes stakeholder engagement by encouraging participation in product evaluations.
* Providing expert clinical leadership, advice, and support to key stakeholders regarding the procurement, supply, and management of clinical products and consumables at Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
* Attending the Clinical Product Advisory Committee monthly, acting on key advice and recommendations.
* Participating in local investigations related to incidents involving clinical consumables, reporting product complaints, and escalating risks to governing bodies, such as the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
Remuneration value up to $169 138 p.a., comprising salary between $136 538 - $148 242 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NG7).
