About the role
We're excited to offer a permanent Terminal Operator position at our Fisherman Islands terminal. While previous experience in terrminal operations, warehousing, grain handling or simliar environments is desirable, it's not essential. If you bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn, we'll provide full training in quality control, stock systems, sampling, grain assessing, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the agriculture and export sector.
Terminal Operators play a vital role in ensuring efficient and safe operations at our port-side grain terminal. You'll be involved in handling a range of commodities including wheat, barley, sorghum, pulses, woodchips, cement, sand and other products.
Your core responsibilities will include:
* Rail and road receival
* Shipping operations
* Road outloading
* Plant hygiene and maintenance
* Container packing
* Bunker storage operations
* Grain sampling and assessing

About you
We're looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive and comfortable with hands-on work. You will also bring:
* Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as our terminal operates 24/7
* Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills
* The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Bonus: Loader, forklift or skid‐steer experience (desirable but not essential)
