Coops Drainage & Civil is a family owned and run company, working within the Gold Coast surrounding regions for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on our ability to construct and project manage large-scale residential subdivisions, major trunk sewers, water reticulation and pump station projects. 
About the role 
Working from our head office at Stapylton, you will be responsible for the processing of accounts payable/receivable as well as administrative functions. This includes but is not limited to: 
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and attention to detail. 
Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial records are up to date. 
Accurately prepare and allocate costs to the appropriate G/L accounts, job codes and maintaining financial clarity across the organization. 
Prepare EFT payment runs, ensuring all transactions are properly authorized and executed. 
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting tasks. 
Completion and lodgement of BAS. 
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, addressing queries and ensuring timely payments. 
Experience & Knowledge 
High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
Experience in the Civil industry will be highly regarded. 
Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting. 
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position 
Accounting/ Bookkeeping qualification an advantage
