Digital Library Technician
In this role, the Digital Library Technician will support the library team in delivering high quality digital and library services to students and educational business units, to optimise learning effectiveness.
The Student Experience Business Unit engages across the student journey by inspiring a commitment to study, simplifying processes, building student confidence, and supporting students to achieve their career goals.
What You'll Bring
Certificate IV in Library Information Services or Diploma of Library and Information Services or equivalent qualification acceptable for membership as a Library Technician with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
Well-developed skills and experience in the use of Library Management Systems, library databases, PC applications and library multimedia
Sound knowledge of bibliographic standards and practices and proven ability in carrying out activities in bibliographic database management functions
Demonstrated ability to work on complex projects analysing library management system data to provide seamless access to library users
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
There is a possibility that this position will become an ongoing position.
