Job Title: Canteen Supervisor
About the Role:
* Coordinate the daily operation of the school canteen and oversee the preparation of food and counter services.
* Identify stock requirements and place orders with appropriate vendors on a regular basis.
* Participate in regular stocktake, recording and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Maintain accurate and appropriate records for the canteen and associated catering operations including filing of ordering, receipt and associated documentation.
* Liaise with suppliers to maximise earning potential for the school.
* Deliver a quality service to students and customers through approved marketing arrangements.
* Evaluate and improve operational procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Provide effective supervision and training to canteen and catering employees and volunteers.
* Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety Practices and relevant legislation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in supervisory or management roles within a food service environment.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
