Office Administrator (Full Time)
As our Office Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our office operations run smoothly, efficiently, and professionally. If you currently work in a gate, door, electrical, plumbing, or trade-related business and want a role with more growth, challenge, and variety, this may be your perfect next step.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Scheduling jobs for our technicians and managing calendars efficiently
* Providing excellent customer service with a professional phone manner and clear communication
* Managing the central inbox, ensuring all emails are actioned, delegated, or followed up promptly
* Ordering materials and parts efficiently and cost‑effectively
* Allocating parts/materials for upcoming work
* Ensuring technicians complete their weekly stocktake
* Allocating stock to jobs
* Managing and completing the workshop stocktake
* Liaising with the team to manage orders and track job progress
* Maintaining high-quality work standards and meeting deadlines
* Taking pride in your work and contributing to a positive, motivated team culture
* Supporting the team to uphold AGAD's professional brand and service standards
What You Need to Bring
* 1‑2 years minimum office administration experience (Experience in gates, doors, or a trade‑based business is a strong advantage.)
* Strong communication skills and a reliable, proactive approach
* High attention to detail and the ability to stay organised in a fast‑paced environment
* Experience using Xero (or similar systems like MYOB) is an advantage, but not essential
