About the Role
As a Retail Consultant at RACQ's Toowoomba Store, you will be the friendly face that creates genuine connections and drives meaningful sales. In this member‐focused role you will uncover needs quickly, match members with the right assistance and insurance solutions, and deliver service that keeps people coming back.
Compensation & Hours
$67,000+ per year + Super + Loadings + Travel Allowance
Full time, 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, and every second Saturday 9:15am to 12:15pm with a rostered weekday off each fortnight.
Responsibilities
* Provide friendly, member‐centered service at the counter.
* Identify member needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
* Drive sales and meet or exceed targets in a fast‐paced, supportive team.
* Support local community events, assist in crisis situations, and build long‐term relationships beyond a single visit.
* Use technology confidently to communicate with members both in person and over the phone.
Requirements
* Welcome a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a customer‐first mindset.
* Experience in sales is desirable but not essential; all necessary training will be provided.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and bounce back quickly.
* Comfortable using technology and communicating confidently.
