We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport
Manager to join our team at TTA Logistics Pty Ltd. As a Transport Manager, you
will be responsible for overseeing our vehicles, movement from warehouse to
delivery destination. This role requires knowledge of occupational safety
compliance with regulations, to maintain our business’ high standards of
efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer suitable
transport solutions.
Address customer complaints effectively and ensure satisfaction.
Receive orders and bookings. Ensure all collection and deliveries are
made on time and in the correct manner.
Overseeing the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles,
equipment, and fuel.
Maintain logbooks of fleet routes and movement of vehicles
Ensuring goods are stored and transported in satisfactory conditions to
avoid breakages, damage or loss
Handling on-going feedback from drivers and clients as to how delivery
efficiencies can be achieved.
Maintain comprehensive business records, operational statements, and
reports.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Key competencies, skills and qualifications
Bachelor or higher qualification in business, management.
Working with delivery vehicles and/or transport coordination or
management related experience and knowledge is preferred.
Licenses and Skills: Valid Driver License, or heavy vehicle license
Tech Proficiency: Competence in MS Office, MYOB, and general computer
skills.
Ability to work under pressure, long working hours, valuable time management skills.
Be a problem solver externally and internally.
Knowledge of the food service industry.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
