Football Victoria (FV) is the governing body for football in Victoria.
We are recognised as the organisation responsible for the administration, promotion and delivery of football and futsal (indoor football) in the state by both the State and Federal Governments, as well as Football Australia (FA).
Our funding derives from membership and club affiliation fees, government grants and corporate sponsorship.
Through the national body's affiliation with FIFA (Federation of International Football Associations), we look after everything football in Victoria including:

* Referees;
* Coaches;
* Officials;
* Volunteers.

FV are a not-for-profit sporting organisation run by a Board of Directors. We reinvest any money generated by the game in a financially prudent manner, prioritising in providing more coaching, education, facilities, support and participation opportunities to the community and our partners back to where it is needed most.
We currently employ over 80 staff to deliver on the FV Strategic Plan ("Our Football") and administration of weekly football matches, producing annual football fixtures and appropriate rules of competition. Referees are also appointed to these matches to facilitate a safer and more enjoyable participation experience.
We also deliver education programs and resources to talented players, coaches, referees, and club volunteers while promoting the game through various channels, keeping our members informed regularly through a dedicated communications program.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Located at the world-class facility The Home of The Matildas in Bundoora, this role will be the driving force behind FV's push to create industry best content for emerging platforms.
You will be the creator who captures the emotion, culture and community of Victorian football and turns that into content which will inspire our followers to love football for life: Vertical videos, Reels, TikToks, match-day updates, motion graphics, behind-the-scenes moments, and everything in between.
The role is hands-on, fast-paced and perfect for a junior creative who wants to grow quickly inside a high-performing sporting organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Produce and edit vertical short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other emerging formats.
* Develop engaging motion graphics and animated assets aligned to FV brand guidelines.
* Deliver live match and event coverage across FV social channels, including weekends and evenings.
* Write engaging captions, match updates, and story-driven posts tailored to each platform.
* Create recurring graphic assets using existing templates to support competitions, announcements, and campaigns.
* Produce written features and short editorial pieces on key programs, competitions, clubs and personalities.
* Assist with long-form video editing and production as required.
* Support graphic design tasks including layout, resizing, and preparing assets for publication.
* Capture internal photography at events, media opportunities or training sessions.
* Assist with uploading articles, tagging content, and maintaining FV digital platforms.
* Support the scheduling and posting of content across FV's social and owned channels.
SELECTION CRITERIA
* A valid Working with Childrens Check.
* At least 1-year of relevant industry experience
* Tertiary qualification in media or relevant field is desirable
* Experience using mobile video editing tools such as CapCut
* Experience using in Meta Business Manager
* Basic skills using Adobe Suite – Photoshop and Premiere Pro in particular
* Thorough understanding of football landscape, both locally and internationally
* Strong written skills
