Switchboard Drafter
Responsibilities
* Produce accurate switchboard drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
* Interpret client specifications, electrical schematics, and single-line diagrams.
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production staff to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
* Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and project documentation.
* Provide technical drafting support during project delivery.
Skills & Experience
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD tools).
* Strong technical knowledge of switchboard layouts and busbar arrangements.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
* Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Project Manager – Switchboard Manufacturing
Responsibilities
* Manage switchboard projects from tender through to delivery.
* Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and procurement requirements.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Monitor progress, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget.
* Prepare and deliver project reports to management and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
* Background in project management within electrical or manufacturing industries.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Solid understanding of switchboard manufacturing processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Quality Assurance (QA) Officer – Switchboard Manufacturing
Responsibilities
* Implement and monitor QA processes in line with AS/NZS 61439, 3000, and company standards.
* Conduct inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and ensure compliance with specifications.
* Maintain QA records, non-conformance reports, and test documentation.
* Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
Skills & Experience
* Knowledge of QA/QC processes in electrical manufacturing.
* Familiarity with AS/NZS standards and electrical testing procedures.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to document, report, and follow up on non-conformances.
* Experience with continuous improvement and compliance systems.
