Job Overview
This role is about leading a team of Care Partners in delivering exceptional services to older people in their own homes. As our Support at Home Team Leader, you'll be responsible for guiding and inspiring your team to achieve excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a diverse team of Care Partners to deliver high-quality services.
* Foster an inclusive culture that focuses on customer needs and achieves results through accountability.
* Coach and mentor staff to help them reach their full potential.
* Develop and implement health and safety initiatives that protect the wellbeing of clients and staff.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Ensure compliance with aged care standards, policies, and relevant legislation.
* Drive quality improvement initiatives and support audits and accreditation processes.
* Support change management and service enhancements to improve client outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in human services, social work, nursing, or a related field.
* Significant experience leading or supervising teams in community, aged care, or health services.
* Experience in business planning, budget management, and resource allocation.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, aged care standards, and program requirements.
* Advanced stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
* Ability to drive change and foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
