The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced BIM Revit Modeller – Electrical to support the delivery of a major Australian electrical infrastructure program. This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on advanced Revit 3D modelling and the development of construction-ready electrical design packages across HV and LV networks.
You will be responsible for the detailed modelling and coordination of 33kV and LV reticulation systems, including surface building electrical services and cable support infrastructure. Working closely with electrical engineers, project teams, and multi-disciplinary design partners, you'll play a critical role in ensuring designs are fully coordinated, buildable, and aligned with best-practice standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex infrastructure projects and wants to see their work translated directly into on-site delivery.
In This Role, You Will
Model HV and LV cable routes including conduits, pits, submains, distribution pillars, and associated infrastructure.
Produce detailed Revit models and installation drawings for surface building electrical services, plant, and equipment.
Participate in design reviews, clash detection, and BIM coordination workshops.
Coordinate electrical models with structural, mechanical, and civil disciplines to resolve clashes and constructability issues.
Ensure models and drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
Support the delivery of coordinated, construction-ready BIM outputs.
About You
You're technically strong, detail-driven, and comfortable working in complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent demonstrated industry experience.
Advanced Revit 3D modelling experience for electrical systems (essential).
Proven experience modelling HV/LV reticulation, cable routes, substations, and associated electrical infrastructure.
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a solid understanding of BIM workflows.
Confident communicator able to collaborate with engineers, designers, and site teams.
Experience with Navisworks, BIM360, or similar coordination platforms highly regarded.
Exposure to ETAP, SafeGrid, or protection studies is advantageous but not essential.
