Job Description: Technical Support EngineerOur client, a sustainable energy company, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their Energy Storage and Optimization Lifecycle Management team.
This role involves supporting customers by enhancing the technical and operational performance of energy storage products.
The ideal candidate will have a background in energy storage systems or a related electrical field, with a solid understanding of electrical hardware and electronics.
Training in battery energy storage will be provided to support customer projects remotely.Main ResponsibilitiesMonitor all energy storage sites globallyProvide remote technical support to customers, field service, and commissioning teamsUse proprietary software for system evaluation and troubleshootingCoordinate system updates with software teams and customersRespond to support requests and document all interactionsUpdate customers on repair status, warranty claims, and software updatesProvide energy storage training to customers and colleaguesCoordinate service visits and warranty claims with the lifecycle management teamConduct field visits to resolve critical issuesGenerate monthly project reportsParticipate in a 24/7 on-call rotationCandidate ProfileRequired qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience with electrical hardware or electronicsExcellent communication and documentation skillsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx.
