Role Overview
Managers will own a client portfolio, lead a team, and drive client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns (companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals)
* Lead special projects such as succession planning and tax planning
* Provide tax compliance and advisory services
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Collaborate with Directors on client strategy and growth
* Oversee workflow, deadlines, and team performance
* Mentor and develop junior accountants
* Coordinate with clients and the ATO on compliance matters
* Manage GST reconciliations and BAS lodgements
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Australian tax and business advisory (essential)
* 4–5+ years in public practice or accounting firm environment
* CA/CPA/CTA qualified or in progress
* Strong technical skills in tax compliance and financial reporting
* Excellent client‐facing and communication skills
* Leadership capability or readiness to step into a manager role
* Willingness to relocate or be based in regional WA (Esperance, Narrogin, Wagin)
* Experience or interest in agribusiness is highly regarded (especially for Narrogin/Wagin)
