PSG are working exclusively with a successful organisation in South Perth seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to play a key role in shaping payroll department.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring everything runs smoothly, accurately, and on time.
- Oversee remuneration frameworks, salary structures, and benchmarking.
- Manage employee perks, allowances, and incentive programs.
- Act as the go-to person for payroll and remuneration queries across the business.
- Provide strategic advice and reports on payroll and remuneration matters.
- Mentor and guide payroll team members, ensuring operational excellence.
- Maintain and update employee records, awards, leave, and entitlements.
- Reconcile payroll reports, prepare and lodge STP/EOFY reconciliations, and handle internal/external queries.
- Support contracts, onboarding, offboarding, superannuation, and compliance processes.
- Collaborate closely with People & Culture, Finance, and Management to ensure seamless integration of payroll and HR systems.
- Manage and support off-site payroll staff, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the board.
About You
- 2+ years’ experience in payroll managment with proven expertise in remuneration and payroll operations.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and award interpretation.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
