Maintenance Watch Engineer
Job Description
* Oversee and coordinate maintenance requirements, defect rectifications, deferred defects, and AOG support to optimize efficiency and maximize aircraft serviceability.
* Handle CASA applications (MEL extensions, permits, unservice abilities), ensure compliance with aviation regulations, and provide guidance on non-standard repairs or modifications.
* Liaise with Fleet Services, Operations, Flight Crew, and external partners to align maintenance activities with flight schedules and authorize ferry flights when required.
* Monitor parts supply chain, manage defect requisitions, maintain safety standards, provide technical support to aircrew, and ensure smooth workflow through effective handovers.
Qualifications:
* Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1 or B2).
* Proven experience working on turboprop or jet aircraft types.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience, with the ability to oversee maintenance requirements to optimize efficiency and maximize aircraft availability.
* Holder of EASA license
Work Set-up:
* Permanent position.
* Willing to commit to a 3-year placement in Broome or Kununurra.
