Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Microsoft Business Central Developer for an immediate, short-term engagement based in Brisbane. This is a critical role focused on high-level development, system optimization, and ensuring our Business Central environment is tailored to meet specific project requirements.
As a specialist in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, you will bring deep technical expertise to the team, helping us streamline workflows and enhance our ERP capabilities through custom AL development and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Custom Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom extensions and solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL.
* System Integration: Build and maintain seamless integrations between Business Central and third-party applications or internal systems.
* Troubleshooting & Performance: Identify and resolve complex technical issues within the BC environment, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
* Onsite Engagement: Participate in weekly onsite collaboration sessions at our Brisbane office to ensure project alignment and rapid delivery.
Qualifications
* Business Central Mastery: Deep, hands‐on development experience specifically within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
* Integration Specialist: Proven track record of integrating ERP systems with CRMs and other third‐party software.
* Advanced Azure Skills: Practical experience deploying and managing Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
* Microsoft Power Platform: Proficiency in working with Dataverse and integrating SharePoint for storage solutions.
* Business Analysis: Strong capability in conducting gap analysis and translating business needs into clear, documented technical solutions.
* Technical Stack: Expert knowledge of the AL language, the Business Central object model, and modern web services (OData/REST).
