**About the role**
Working as part of Activ's Property Care team, the Supervisor spends most of their days outside, leading through example, mentoring, inspiring, and working alongside a crew of people living with disability, in completing gardening, grounds maintenance, landscaping and site clean-ups, for long-established high-profile customers.
Based from our Bunbury hub, this position will work across a variety of locations in the Upper South West. This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday, 7:24am-3:30pm and pays $36.61 per hour (approx. $72,500 equivalent). Working for a not for profit you will also have access to salary packaging options which could increase your take home pay by an additional $9,700* a year.
**Duties include**:
- Supervising and working alongside supported employees in completing gardening and grounds work for commercial contracts such as; mowing, pruning, weeding, whipper snipping, planting and leaf blowing.
- Supporting employees in learning and developing skills that enable them to pursue their goals and aspirations.
- Ensuring safe work practices including the operation of equipment.
- Maintaining records regarding attendance, job sheets and machine maintenance.
**What you need**:
- Great attitude towards working with people living with disability.
- A strong work ethic and self motivation.
- Happy to work in the great outdoors doing physical work.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Handy with tools, horticulture, landscaping, gardening or trade background beneficial, **_but not essential._**:
- A passion for providing guidance and motivation and getting the best out of people.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Current Western Australian licence essential - LR license highly regarded.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Clearance (at our cost)
