This position will be based at our Bushells Ridge facility. The successful candidate will be self-driven, have a keen interest in production, fixed and mobile plant and will work closely with the Asphalt Production team to promote and build our business.While previous experience in asphalt production is preferred, candidates from related industries are encouraged to apply, with training provided to the successful applicant.We are open to applicants who have boiler making experience or who are completing their apprenticeship within the industry.* Proven experience as an Asphalt Plant Operator/Batcher (or similar) in a production environment, including fixed plant maintenance and heavy machinery operation (with current licences).* Strong understanding of asphalt batching processes, quality control, and safety, quality, and environmental standards.* Highly developed problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and organisational abilities.* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.**It would be advantageous if you have:*** Trade qualification (highly desired)* Current driver's license* Forklift and front-end loader tickets (preferred)* Experience as a boilermaker or fitter, or an apprentice in these tradesThe pre-employment process will involve a medical check including drug and alcohol screening.
