Regional Manager | ACT & Riverina
Job Description The Regional Manager will provide leadership, guidance, and support to retail store teams across the region, empowering them to deliver exceptional service, expert advice, and meaningful value while championing care for people, pets and the planet.
A Peek Into Your Petstock Day
* Lead & guide your team to achieve sales/KPIs and deliver world‑class customer service in their store
* Visit stores, providing feedback to assist with ongoing improvement and success
* Actively work with Store Managers in promoting induction and relevant training opportunities
* Support stores with recruitment where required
* Assist Store Managers with stock & margin management, including stocktakes as directed by Loss & Risk
* Coach and mentor key staff to provide development and succession opportunities
* Support Store Managers in recruiting, onboarding, and inducting high‑calibre new Team Members
* Provide monthly reporting and new store business cases where required
* Analyse opposition’s stock mix to assist the Merchandise team in determining appropriate stock mix and volume
* Maintain a strong safety mindset and commit to creating a culture of safety within the team

* Experience in retail management of multiple sites
* Demonstrated success in building sales and people management across multiple sites
* High degree of business & financial acumen
* Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets across a defined region and number of stores
* Strong safety mindset and commitment to create a culture of safety within the team
* Ability to be flexible to meet changing work conditions
* Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
* Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* A commitment to represent the interests of Petstock in areas related to the business, branding and animal care
